There is an intrinsic nature to capitalism that "screws your neighbor" in order to get ahead. I am in a position to somewhat benefit from it, but hate the fucking "screw your neighbor" feel that it has to it.

I can only imagine those that have more than me or have no problem with this system.

You have to have a base to work with, and you have to think like a capitalism asshole to benefit from it. And that just really sucks.

I am in a hospital split top and the only other thing I am wearing is an N-99 Envo mask with the halo strap. Everyone else, except for the head nurse for the procedure, is maskless. The head nurse is in some sort of modified surgical mask with head straps instead of ear loops.

Had a colonoscopy today. When I have colonoscopies, I go without anesthesia to ensure my mask stays on. I am going thru the extensive questionnaires with the nurse. I mention I just flew back from Hawaii, and she asks me if I am feeling any flu like symptoms.

Now let me describe the other factors:

The stock market is so odd. Made more money this week in 401k than working a real job. My partner was able to retire because of Nvidia stock. He didn’t have to sell the house to retire.
