Marker pen Compact Disk (CD) or DVD (one that looks silver, not blue) A wine glasses Pen / pencil 15 cm length of wire (for example, from an old power cable) A cylindrical battery (AA, AAA and C batteries are all fine) 1 or more disk-shaped neodymium magnets (about 5 mm thick and 2 cm wide is a good size) 1 screw with a flat head (ideally more than 2 cm long, and check that it sticks to the magnet) paper towels (kitchen roll) Plastic carrier bag or bin bag

Took my youngest and my parents to see The Fairy Queen performed by a local opera group. It was fantastic, funny, sweet and we are still singing the songs 4 days later

I do love new books and Spick and Span is a recent one I absolutely loved but for me if I'm in a slump I need something familiar, what if I try something new and I don't like it? My slump would get worse 🤣

For me, I always go back to the Alfie Bloom series by @gabriellekent.bsky.social it is my comfort read. For my oldest it was always the latest Tom Gates book, now it is the latest Tik Tok celebrity cookbook. For my youngest he likes going to the library and just picking something fun and silly
