Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025.

This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.

Protestors met JD Vance in Vermont when he went to vacation there today. This is a good one:

I was responding to someone that was questioning why people aren’t protesting more in the US. Police excessive force and gun violence are the reasons people aren’t rushing into protesting against immigration. I will say though protests are ramping up recently. But news isn’t covering it.

He was also recently bullied into voting for Trump by maga supporters. The whole point I was making was the protests in the US aren’t safe. Do you disagree with that original point? Most gun violence is accidental. So 🤷‍♀️. Still seems pretty unsafe to me.

Ok- so the word murderer would be legally incorrect. He killed someone and probably shouldn’t have brought a gun to the protests. But nowhere in my reading did Kyle Rittenhouse ever say he was a BLM supporter. He is seen being friendly with proud boys, unfortunately.

It’s a fact that he killed people with his weapon. If he hadn’t brought a weapon it’s likely that no one would have been shot. In none of the articles I’ve read did Kyle ever state he was a BLM supporter. He was there to “protect businesses.”

We are arms dealers to terrorists.

He just threatened our state and our governor.

All I’m reading from it is word salad. It’s good for summarizing information but all of the information from ai should be fact checked.

The only reason ai exists is because of people with a higher education and phds whose papers and research have been fed into it.
