I did this last year for a course where all the reading was pdfs. A local copy shop offered to do a course pack and I surveyed students and found enough interest that they did it.

Opinion | Holding back gifted students in the name of equity
Zohran Mamdani treads on dangerous ground by putting equity ahead of educational opportunity.
This is BS. My kid went to kindergarten on the upper west side of Manhattan. They offered testing for the gifted program, but admitted that no one ever passed because they competed against kids who took the test with private counselors that few families could afford.

Court restores union rights for thousands of DODEA teachers
A federal judge restored an injunction in a bench ruling that blocks an executive order that would remove federal employeesβ collective bargaining rights.
Thousands of educators at U.S. military-funded schools overseas and stateside may continue participating in union activities following back-to-back court rulings in favor of unions representing federal workers.

Trump administration illegally targeted pro-Palestinian protesters, judge rules
The efforts to detain and deport noncitizen activists earlier this year represented an unconstitutional infringement on the First Amendment, the ruling says.
βA key question in the bench trial β decided by a judge rather than a jury β focused on whether noncitizens in the United States have the same rights to freedom of speech as citizens. The answer is βunequivocally, βyes, they do,ββ Young wrote.β @aaup.org

I'm puzzled that the response to @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social's praise of Kirk barely mentions Professor Watchlist. Imagine if a left-wing activist maintained a list of CEOs that resulted in death threats and firings. Does Klein really think this is a model for political engagement?
