Over 6 million bats have died from white nose syndrome, a fungus, in Canada and the US, decimating up to 90% of their populations. The fungus was caused by cavers (HUMANS!) introducing spores into the caves. It’s our species who are the haters, not bats.

I’m in Mexico with a sore wrist. I visited my fam doc here the day after I called for an appt, had an ultrasound in her office, $80 CAD. Before coming here, I needed an ultrasound in Ont. My doc gave me a req in October 2025 and earliest apptmnt in Owen Sound was April 2026.
