These are fantastic small grants for Early Career Researchers working on Antarctic Science projects. Supervisors - please point your students towards them. A huge range of projects and people have been funded over the years.

Highly recommend this as one of the few ways you can apply for your own funding as an ECR. I had a great time at University of Chicago working on some modelling problems that I wouldn't have had the chance to think about otherwise.

This week the 2025 @wildwaterwhales.bsky.social team goes into the field! The team are journeying to South Georgia by ✈️ and 🚢, to study humpback whale foraging behaviour & feeding rates.
