Yes and no. Lots of new hotels and unnecessary fancy offices but no culture as all the interesting art and nightlife spaces are being shut down. Dublin is wearing the mask of a vibrant city, but is not one.

Worry about who you are, and who you want to be, not what you think you're "supposed" to be. Indulge hobbies, and don't stop being curious. Whether it's writing, gardening, woodworking, whatever. You do not know what lessons those will teach you that may be far more important than you realize.

One of my fav films and I feel so annoyed I never got to experience this film on the big screen.

I think the comanche version is also even more impressive and immersive.

One of the things that has always been true, but doesn’t get addressed until you start to get pretty nerdy in talking about horror, is that it’s actually many different audiences, pushed together under the umbrella of horror. That variation, is good for the genre and audiences.

Worked up a poster for Sinners - that cross section of horror movies, period pieces, and roots music checks an awful lot of my boxes, and heavens but it was beautifully made.

I feel bad for the generation of people handing over their ability to act creatively to AI… i don’t think they realize that creativity is a muscle, and when you don’t use it-

Went to the HorrorHound convention in Cincinnati last weekend and it was very humbling and fun to look people in the eye who appreciate what I do. There were married couples who met in Saw chat rooms! If you can make something that affects people, then you can’t ask for much more as an artist. Hugs.
