There’s no doubt Fears seems to show the greatest aggression at the start and then when finishing games.

Trey Murphy just nabbed his 12th rebound, a new career high. Trigga has looked very spry tonight. Seems missing the last two games has reinvigorated him.

Pelicans lead Timberwolves 68-58 at halftime. New Orleans was on a 15-0 run before Rudy Gobert broke the streak right before the end of the half. Their 16 fast break points are the most they've had in a first half this season.

Jeremiah Fears has had at least three good defensive efforts, stopping Anthony Edwards twice and Jaden McDaniels once.

Offensively he hasn't been bad either: 8 points and 2 assists.

In full agreement with you. The lumps taken will be their guide -- and that should work with high-character, motivated players. Also, everyone I've talked to has been ready to hand the reins to the rookies and other members of the core. Just feels like a fresh start for all involved is best path.
