Evilswarm isn't even a deck you can be creative with, unlike other rogue decks where a good player can finagle their way around sticky situations because their cards all do things to manipulate the board. Evilswarm is just...hope you win by sitting on Ophion for 9 turns...

But yeah, Evilswarm is a miserable deck with one good card to play it for that hasn't been effective since 2014.

But they're still better than the previous "Monarchs but infinitely worse" Steelswarm (and the reason why Evilswarm cards all say "lswarm," because in the Japanese is Verz and Inverz).

Doubly funny because I was on Infernoid and he was already pissy at me for being REALLY good at the deck and outing his Towers and Lose 1 Turn's mandatory change effect (summoned Onuncu and blow up all other monsters, L1T activates to change it to defense, then chain Onuncu to tribute+negate/banish)

Judge comes over and tells him the same thing. "You're trying to special summon a level 6 monster, and Ophion prevents that." Kid threw a punch at the judge, and I had to hold him down until the LGS owner came over to the game tables to escort him out.

...because Qliphort monsters become level 4 when special summoned or normal summoned without tributing. No. They're all level level 5-10 until after they hit the field, so Ophion absolutely shuts that part down. I told him "Carrier is level 6 in your extra deck, you can't attempt to summon it."
