12.11.2025 07:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's rubbish, and why is it the things you are meant to do always feel so painful?! Hope you are feeling better today x
09.11.2025 09:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I am having one of those days too. Don't move unless absolutely necessary. Rest. Sending big hugs x
08.11.2025 13:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes, diagnosed coeliac about 4 years ago I think. Tbh, it was life changing in terms of not feeling crap all the time. But fuck me I miss croissants
02.11.2025 23:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There is also an app (gluten free on the move?) that's good for eating out if you have to. It does another one that you can use to scan stuff and see if it had gluten.
Also, im really sorry. It sucks arse.
Go all in. Agree with him. Start putting them in nappies and baby clothes. Feed them bottles every time they bark. Get a crib and insist they sleep in it with you at night. Push them around in a pram.

Can't help with the diabetes. I had the one you get when pregnant and cut down on cards, just ate more protein and less carbs but usual meals.
If you have a bread maker, a gf bread mix makes way better bread than the bought crap.
Bad news, you will never eat a decent croissant again.
Cooking your meals as opposed to eating out is safer (although sucks). But Pizza Express is always fairly reliable and their GF pizza and dough balls are

Always check everything for ingredients (I glutened myself once with supermarket cola as it had barley in it π©)
Because itβs cis kids.
The NHS will quite casually give cis kids whatever treatment they need, even PBsπ
No trials. No concerns about side effects. No moral panic.
Is he talking about the vikings? Cos it was a long time ago and most of us have moved on from that

When in the woods, best beware of dead man's fingers lurking there.
Reaching up above the ground, a creepy fungi to be found.
Happy Halloween everyone.

anymore. Quality of life isnt even a consideration anymore. We are all just economic units, there to make money for the rich ones. But, many parents will put up with a lot for themselves but won't put up with it for their children.
STOP TESTING KIDS AND LET THEM ENJOY LIFE
can't? Because too much power has been handed over to academies and you have no control? Academies are the worst thing to ever happen to schools and we're obviously a Labour idea. It's soul destroying watching children get destroyed on am education system that isn't for purpose. Nothing works
01.11.2025 10:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You are perpetuating a damaging system that is likely a big part of why there is a mental health crisis in kids. They don't enjoy learning. They don't run around enough. They get anxious and miserable and sad. These are CHILDREN. Not economic units. Is the reason you don't do anything because you
01.11.2025 10:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0@bphillipsonmp.bsky.social I had such high hopes. You were one of the reasons I tactically voted so Labour would win. I genuinely believed you would change the education system, you seemed so passionate about it's failings. I guess it's easier to criticise from the outside than do the hard work.

How will testing kids help them learn?
Sometimes I think about taking my son out and homeschooling him because the school system destroys most kids. Looking at the stats more and more parents are doing it and I don't blame them.
01.11.2025 10:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oh yes, more testing, that'll help them. I hate this woman. I had such high hopes that she would undo the damage to education and children's mental health. Instead she is perpetuating it and making it ten times worse

100% I have ADHD too! Its so freeing to find out, ok, this is just how my brain works, it's not me being morally bad. And then tiu can figure out how to work your life to enjoy it again! β€οΈ
