The most recent globadier and the last one I painted almost two years ago. I feel like I have improved so much it’s kinda crazy.

This was such a fun project and I learned so much especially about glazing and blending transitions. I feel like I have immensely leveled up from this model and I couldn’t be prouder.

The final steps were to connect the model to the base and to wash the model using an oil wash made from dark green, burnt umber and a small amount of black. This really served to unify most of the model and smooth the blends. With a final smattering of snow effects, the Prophet was finished.

With the model mostly finished I moved on to the base. The clan rats were a very simple mix of base coats and contrast paints with a little extra care put into the banner, free handing the skaven symbol and a symbol for the great horned rat.

With the majority of the torso finished I started working on the armor plate in sub assembly. I started with another base coat of the olive brown then moved on to dry brush steel for the armor itself and Balthasar gold for the copper necklace elements. I used the airbrush for the red stole.

After the cloak I worked on the tail and the other details on the torso of the model, the sword, the staff and metallics across the torso.
