Although tbh if you want my true San Diegan opinion and are able to walk a few blocks, Taco Centro on island ave has fantastic tacos/margs and is a great place to chill if you wanna eat pregame and save some $$ (park food is good but outrageously priced haha)

Great park. First base side gets the sun, even for first 20 minutes of night games. Friday is $5 beer at Park at the Park, so it’s gonna be packed. Women’s restroom lines are ridiculous. If you like beer, shortest lines are the kiosks behind home plate. Lobster dogs only sold behind section 129 🫡

The park blvd entrance is usually less crowded, the tri tip nachos are great but get food early, and if you need merch, it's usually easier to get in and out of the store near the playground (behind Gallagher square). I also recommend taking an inning to just walk around - it's a pretty park!

There are obviously things that are more important, but just get there when you can? Is my general mindset haha.

I feel the same way on this. Maybe its a socal mindset? But the majority of people I organize stuff with either 1) have young kids, 2) have traffic to deal with, 3) are dealing with more everyday stress than they were 5 years ago or 4) all of the above so I can't imagine being upset about lateness
