Do either of you know why those checkpoints exist? Did you bother to also meet with any “settlers”? Many of them are Americans too. The majority of Israelis are angry with violent “settlers”, or did you check into that at all? The rarely reported fact is that not all “settlers” are like that.

Hot take: Not only are work requirements for Medicaid bad, tying health care to work at all is cruel and we should be doing it less not more.

I find it so disturbing to put this much energy & resource in treating immigrants so cruelly when really it’s our policies that enabled this & that’s not getting any focus at all. From anyone. I suspect a much larger part of our population (more than just magats) is in it to be horrible to “others”
