plus you can draw maps and little illustrations in the margins! also in-world journals, bits of lore, whimsy - i can't even imagine the power if you can actually draw (unlike me)

longtime DMs, i really recommend putting all your game notes and prep in a single cool journal. after years of google docs and umpteen tabs open, it's really fun to make yourself physically write it all down - dare i say mindful even?
