It's disappointing behavior when literally everyone is giving out candy. In our case, it bothers me b/c I know it's girls from our rich neighborhood. It would've bothered me less if it had been folks from elsewhere, b/c in that case, loss of SNAP becomes a possibility, in which case, sure take it 🤷‍♀️

2/2 I'm between "w/e this is just dumb spoiled teen behavior"/it was unattended, and angry b/c how entitled! and the next videos show disappointed kids finding our empty bucket. Don't wanna go overboard, but...in my shoes would you show their parents? (Relevant? Nice neighborhood/affluent neighbors)

Last night our 150 pieces of candy (unattended on our porch while we walked our kids down our block) went crazy fast, right before we got back. Curious, I watched our ring cam. Turns out 3 teen neighbor girls cleaned us out in one go. *first scoops* "OMG leave enough for me!" *scooping the rest* 1/2

Apparently I missed the memo that it’s Dress Like a Demonhunter Day!

I hate waking to a very realistic and frightening sound (in this case, a shout or scream of terror), and not knowing whether you dreamed it or whether it was real—because it had nothing to do with your dream but no one else woke up and there was no recurrence or response. Hopefully a nightmare?

Literally and figuratively, Trump is trashing the entirety of the White House’s East Wing In July, the president said his ballroom project wouldn’t “interfere with” the current White House structure. So much for that idea.

Just completely shocking to be that he’s doing this and no one has tried to stop him. Thank you - I’m so grateful, as well. It was among the greatest honors of my life to get to be a small and brief part of the history of that house. No place like it.

On the one hand, I’m not surprised because he already demolished the reception and hallway adjacent to the Visitors Office and part of the FLOTUS suite. On the other, I am…honestly bereft. Great chance tonight will be just crying over photos and memories and loss of place.

Just spent an hour sifting through boxes of baby clothes. Good news is I don’t think we have to buy any clothes for this child until he’s old enough to object to hand-me-downs! (Which my 3 y/o soon to be middle child has yet to care about, so a while) Bad news…much prep work ahead and I am so tired.
