Can be effective with quick-strike plays but typically gets muted when his check arrives. Not strong enough in battles. Doesn’t appear to compete on every shift (though his competitive shifts should give the Bruins hope — he’s made a few plays under fire, but I stress: a few)

Not writing off Lysell even though he hasn’t broken through yet. Has the tools to be a 50-60 point wing, and every team could use one of those.
