You're oversimplifying the Cunk persona. It's not simply that she's "stupid", it's that she states incorrect things with the same confidence and self-assurance as an actual expert. And that's a thing even smart students try to get away with from time to time, and it's fun to spot those moments.

I could easily imagine, on the last day of the year, making a little anonymous slideshow of these and sharing it with a class. I can't imagine any students being the least bit offended, and I'm sure they'd have a ball.

If I tell a story about a funny mistake my kid made, is that "punching down against them"? Of course not. It's just enjoying a shared moment.
Some people really need to get a bit of perspective.

I can't speak for him, but I certainly wouldn't have any concerns about sending one of these to a student, especially after they'd successfully completed their course.

It's not cruel at all. It's a gentle bit of fun. We all make mistakes, and sometimes those mistakes are funny. It's not like any of these students are being named. And in at least one of these cases, I don't even think it's a mistake, it's a genuine joke by the student which is being celebrated.

I'm loving how much people are enjoying these (and a bit embarrassed to have so much more engagement by cannibalising someone else's brilliant humour than anything of my own!)

"Male" and "female", like "man" and "woman", are umbrella terms that don't have solid boundaries. In the context of talking about trans people, it isn't useful to treat them as simple all-or-nothing categories.
