A Portrait - Nine Elms
A random quick portrait of me taken by Andreya.
This scene is one of my favourite visual sights to enjoy on the tube network, if you visit Nine Elms station at the right time on a sunny day you'll be rewarded with these spectacular shadows & projections.
Two cats sitting on top of cages and looking at the ceiling
Two cars on the floor staring up at the ceiling
Two young kittens in a cage taking notice
A cat standing on her hind legs to reach for a moth
A moth got into the shelter tonight and it was the event of the season.

What Reform's Kent nightmare means for Farage's dream of becoming PM Reform is hoping to prove it is fit for government by the way it runs local authorities Nigel Farage is relying on Kent County Council to prove Reform can hold office. Councillors pictured are Clirs Paul Thomas, Oliver Bradshaw, Bill Barrett and Maxine Fothergill
"We've undeclared the climate crisis, which will free us up further down the line to make many more savings when we start to unpick all the net zero targets that have been sort of baked into the constitution. Then we can save a lot more money in the long term." ClIr Kemkaran, leader of KCC, last month called for the return of international railways to the county (Photo: Gareth Fuller/PA) CIr Kemkaran said she had appointed an internal Department of Local Government Efficiency or "Doge team" which was scrutinising each Cabinet member on what savings could be made.
Reform has “undeclared the climate crisis” to try to find savings.
Wow. If only we’d known it was that easy. Don’t like it? Just “undeclare” it. Simples.
The thought of clowns like this in government is just beyond anything remotely sane. Let’s not go there.

Reform UK has changed free speech laws in Durham. All because Councillors like Darren Grimes don’t like scrutiny.
They hate accountability.

Apropos of nothing, I really do think UK journalists and politicians need some reminding that mass deportation of LEGAL immigrants, particularly those with permanent status, is far more extreme than even Trump's America and would basically place Britain completely on its own among democracies.

It's dumb, it's a waste of time and energy, and believe me, it's NOT what he'd want. To watch the legacies of real people be condensed down to 'this vaguely looks and sounds like them so that's enough, , just so other people can churn out horrible TikTok slop puppeteering them is maddening. You're not making art, you're making disgusting, over-processed hotdogs out of the lives of human beings, out of the history of art and music, and then shoving them down someone else's throat hoping they'll give you a little thumbs up and like it. Gross.
And for the love of EVERYTHING, stop calling it 'the future. Al is just badly recycling and regurgitating the past to be reconsumed. You are taking in the Human Centipede of content, and from the very very end of the line, all while the folks at the front laugh and laugh, consume and consume.

Looking back these photos taken a while back of a train shooting out of a tunnel towards a Hamilton theatre poster. It looks like the man in the poster is staring down the barrel of his shotgun at the approaching train.
Taken at Oxford Circus Underground station.
One thing I dislike about the "polarisation" debates is that sometimes the two poles are "we should deport hundreds of thousands of legal residents" and "we should treat all immigrants with dignity", and talking about polarisation makes it sound like these are equally extreme or bad.

Cartoon: two people at a table with paper, rulers, pens, knives, a jam jar with tools in. Third person entering the scene. Person at the table says "Welcome to Book Binding Club. Please make yourself a tome". I don't know how well puns work with readers. It's two separate words, "a" and "tome". Would welcome any feedback on this.
