Ilan Wurman is frantically drafting something on the topic as we speak.

If we’re not going to shut down Yale, can we at least pass a law requiring Yale law graduates to actually practice law? It would not solve all our problems, but it might minimize some of the damage.

Claremont was correct to label 2016 the flight 93 election, but they didn’t realize that they were the terrorists.

After a decade of this, and in particular everything that’s happened in the past year, I can’t believe we’re in for another round of this braindead discourse.

The second highlighted sentence, implying that trump shares Mamdani’s understanding of the hardship associated with high rental costs in NYC because trump is a real estate developer, is easily one of the stupidest things I’ve read about trump in the past decade.

I had the same thought with respect to the reaction to democratic members of congress during the first CR fight earlier this year.

Unfortunately, Mamdani might have cursed us with another three years of stupid people arguing β€œtrump believes whatever the last person told him, so we can get Medicare for all if Zohran tells him it’s popular”

I was and remain skeptical of the value for Mamdani of meeting and appearing with trump, so I’m going to try not to overthink things and just say this is incredibly funny

The flip side to this is that in one week trump will say that Mamdani is a member of Hamas, and he will definitely send DHS goons to NYC at some point after Mamdani takes office.

President trump called one of my colleagues a β€œpiggy” while answering questions at an impromptu press conference, a degree of access that President Biden never gave to White House reporters.

Overhead bin storage in airplanes should be subject to federal regulation and possibly even criminal punishment under the U.S. Code.

It’s unfortunate that the Biden admin never really got credit for telling Larry Summers to pound sand.

I for one think that republicans should put the visibly aging president who’s underwater on every issue in front of midterm voters as much possible.

If you’re Coinbase’s GC (lol), you probably want to resolve the criminal violation in connection with this bribe to trump before 2029, because DOJ under current leadership will agree to more favorable terms than that under the next admin.

Also, it was obvious that trump was lying about β€œnot touching Medicare” or whatever he said on the campaign trail in 2016 because he (a) is a Republican, (b) is extremely wealthy, and (c) doesn’t care about anyone other than himself.

As Trump Targets Antifa in U.S., Rubio Labels European Groups as Terrorists The State Department’s search for leftist groups to designate as terrorist organizations appears rooted in President Trump’s executive order on domestic groups that he calls antifa.

This is a flailing attempt to follow up on trump’s largely meaningless (in practice not intent) antifa EO and I doubt it will have much of a practical effect down the line, but it carries severe legal consequences that the previous one lacked. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/14/u...

Spot on. Part of what made 2024 so maddening was the media doing everything it could to pretend that trump would not govern as an extremist despite all evidence to the contrary, and then justifying trump’s radical agenda by saying Americans knew what they were voting for.

Unsurprisingly, the same people who think there’s meaningful distance between trump and Greene thought trump and musk had a big falling out earlier this year.
