Basically there's more games that can be affected, so more games were affected.
I highlight this because it really underscores how far we have come in terms of the kinds of content video games are culturally allowed to have these days.

I'd say in terms of visible damage, this might be the furthest it's actually got materially just due to sheer number of games affected. But it also only got this bad because these games were in such public and visible platforms in massive numbers to begin with.
