I hope Paul Doyle gets the harshest possible sentence & that he's held up as an example to all those drivers, every day, all over the country, who use their car as a weapon to bully & intimidate other road users for daring to cause them mild inconvenience.

Fair enough, everyone's circumstances are different, aren't they? I don't think I could ever justify the cost personally, unless we left London.

Out of interest, why do you feel it necessary to keep the car if that's the case? Lack of nearby car-share options? How often would you estimate you use the car?

Give me £3750 off the cost of a cargo bike (e or otherwise) and I'd gladly give up my car (I don't own a car, but in theory, especially as I live in z3 London and so almost everything I ever hire a car for could be done by cargo bike).

Another article here that, through the headline, implies that e-bikes are the problem here and not a car, being driven into someone on an e-bike.

We don't refer to pedestrians being knocked over as "pedestrian crashes". The e-bike is totally irrelevant.

It is unsafe, that's true. Solution to that is to get rid of the through-traffic (or even better, get rid of the cars completely but let's be realistic). Not to ban kids doing kids stuff.

But there's a clear upward trajectory there. Did very well at Coventry and has gone on to do even better at Sporting, as well as having an excellent record at International level. Not the first player to take until their mid-20s to hit their stride.
