Two fungi, decurrent (is that the word?) gills, brown top, pale underside, chunky stalk. The rims curling upwards.

Can you tell me what this fungus is? Under a beech tree. Moderately large, say 5-6 cm across. Thanks!!

A little white bird with black cap and grey back is somehow stuck to the side of a thick tree trunk with tail up and head down. Its head is stretched out giving a profile view. This is a white-breasted nuthatch.

A bunny comes across a baby dragon, which has just hatched from a large blue egg. The dragon lets out a puff of flame, perhaps by accident, and the bunny looks on cautiously.

Trees in various stages of decline, their lower branches void of any colour. Still standing tall, they line a pine needle covered red dirt path winding its way through the forest. Bits of moss add a pop of colour to the grey day along with some evergreen ferns unbothered by the change in temp.
