ok so apparently falling through your floor is more believable than i thought. i will remember that next time i send a deliberately absurd message in a livestream chat so that people are not worried for my safety. my floor does have a hole in it, but not because i fell.

I really don't want to stop making videos, I enjoy it so much, but with each new AI feature YouTube forces on people I just want to leave the platform so bad, but there is no real alternative, it is extremely disappointing.

I think some people really need to stop using video essays as background noise, not because I make super cool deep points that NEED to be listened to or anything. Instead, just to avoid boosting embarrassing low effort content mills.

So is there any answer as to why Anthony Gramuglia is letting a guy calling furries mentally ill perverts onto his channel for a debate? Especially if his response is to just try and explain that no one can prove there are furries in his audience?

I really hate working with 16:9 but you have to for thumbnails, I find it to be such an awkward format for static images. I'll be struggling to fit everything in yet it will still somehow look empty.

Key word there is inherently, there are still plenty of awful movie remasters, and awful ideologies towards art that go into making them yadda yadda

I'd say movie remasters are less inherently awful than video game ones, because that intended cinema experience is something home formats struggled to capture for years, so you weren't getting a very authentic experience. Games are just games, they released like that, you aren't restoring anything.

I've been thinking about game remasters an absurd amount recently, because I really do not like them. I don't know if I'll make a video about it, while different it is a bit too similar to my previous videos on remakes. Though I could definitely do something new with it, I'll think about it.

People really undervalue aspect ratios in games. The prevalence of widescreen hacks for emulation just kinda sucks, you really can't play the game with some black bars? Like the remaster of re1 remake cropped the game because god forbid it not have a widescreen option it was never intended to have.

Oh, I'm aware, I wasn't saying that because I was excited. For as awful as it is, it is genuinely so funny to think a dev team that want to essentially run their own social media didn't even think to delete their old shit messages or just... make a new server. Beautiful incompetence.
