Alabamian living in MA. Horror and fantasy lover. Allegedly a writer. Atheist. Grumpy progressive. Kinda fussy but not that bad, I swear.

11.08.2025 22:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I despise when a good platonic friendship is ruined by turning into a romance.
11.08.2025 08:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Nothing wrong with that. The first series is a complete story, and the second series is a split path from the visual novel. We can pretend like it doesn't exist
11.08.2025 01:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It holds up amazingly well too.
God..avoid the sequel series if you haven't seen it yet.
That show is so incredible. It absolutely set the standard for time travel stories for me, and being based on my favorite internet urban legend is a bonus. I love how lonely it feels in the long shots early on.
11.08.2025 00:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I also named one of my chickens Biscuit! Hubs was like "name one after one of your characters" and that's what I chose lol
10.08.2025 18:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Poor baby. That's something I always find interesting about fossils like this. They're sad, but give such unique information. When I was a kid, I cried about learning about La Brea because I was sad for the animals, even though I knew the fossils were special.
10.08.2025 03:08 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That's super fun though. It's goofy, then reveals something about him when someone inevitably asks.
I have someone with a griffin mount named Biscuit, when most of the others are named RAZOR and QUEEN and stuff like that. When people ask, he's got a sentimental anecdote for them.
today at the park we saw wild turkeys and some dude behind us was like βbro look at those owlsβ so what Iβm saying is donβt ever let anyone make you feel stupid. you can visually identify a turkey

09.08.2025 18:48 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0"Nothing bad has ever happened to you" is in my lexicon when speaking to my cats.
09.08.2025 16:02 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I adore this book, but I cannot understand folks who power through something like this despite not liking this type of literature, then leave a bad review.
I've been encouraged to review Tess of the d'Urbervilles, but I am that book's #1 hater. It's not bad, it's just not for me.
He's pointless but I love him
(Yes, I know about his eyes. So does the vet. It's managed.)
Oh no
07.08.2025 20:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I felt a pang of terror when a high school friend went on Facebook and posted a story I wrote in our high school literary magazine.
07.08.2025 20:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This whole album was such a game changer to me as a kid and still hits hard to this day.
07.08.2025 20:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Reminder: Fuck ICE. Abolish ICE. Scum of the earth.
06.08.2025 21:23 β π 25 π 8 π¬ 2 π 0@viz.com you need to seriously reconsider this, not just from a business perspective but out of respect for the medium.
06.08.2025 19:16 β π 15 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Seems like a good excuse to post this
06.08.2025 06:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I absolutely love fur-lined pieces
06.08.2025 06:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I want that for my house in Midnight. And my real house.
06.08.2025 02:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh my God, House of Leaves is the most genius book I've ever read. How did I sleep on this for so long?

Weird boobs and nonsense "brushstrokes" aside, I put this into five AI image detectors and only one gave this piece a favorable return. Get a life and learn to actually paint.

I actually saw the singer solo a few months ago. He played at a small venue near my house. This band is from near where I grew up...he was shocked to see someone from so close to his home so far away. Weird how the world works.
Just got out of a concert. It was my dad's favorite band, and he and I tried to see them several times and it always fell through. A nice old man next to me in the crowd checked on me when he realized I was crying. Dude offered me a hug. Best hug from a stranger I've ever received.
Miss you, dad.
