Literally everyone I know with indefinite leave to remain is either in the NHS or education - so I’m not sure how they can prove they’ve contributed more to society than they’ve always done. This seems quite a crucial insight in understanding politics as it is currently practiced: the belief that "real politics would eventually happen elsewhere."

Missing your commentary, it's really helpful to know that not everyone is down with listening to the 'legitimate concerns' of Beavis and Butthead level commentators driving us to something worse than Gilead.
