I saw @realgdt.bsky.social 's Frankenstein tonight and I adored it. It is so refreshing when a creator has such a profound love & understanding of the source material It is abundantly clear from the largest set piece to the tiniest little detail that he poured absolutely everything into this film.

I'm already ready to see @realgdt.bsky.social 's FRANKENSTEIN again. The sheer Gothic-ness of it was so fantastic. I predict several viewings when it hits Netflix next week. I just want to look at at the sets and costumes and photography some more. SO glad I went to see it on the big screen.

#Frankenstein is the ultimate culmination of @realgdt.bsky.social's filmography. With such a storied career, it feels ridiculous to say that this is his magnum opus and yet it is an apt description of what was achieved here. His love of monsters has never been more palpable than it is here.

That new #Frankenstein movie is the perfect balance of questioning what it is to be human, monster and spirit while making everything incredibly stunning and everyone very hot.

Absolutely loved the way Guillermo Del Toro used the colour red throughout the movie.

I was hyped to watch as I adore the book and have already been discussing the film with my bf for an hour. I must send him all the Frankenstein memes and make him read the book some day! (also have plans to rewatch film 🥳)

Today my PC decided to switch itself off after I called it useless. It's probably just dying and not haunted but the timing was deeply suspicious

Another sign my computer is haunted: I switched it off at the plug as I was away for a few days. Came back (I live alone and no one else has keys) and it was awake, on and waiting for me... the plug had been switched back on.
