Sam, none of the other cases come close to the rabid media coverage in the UK. Since Labour took over there has been a sustained attack by right wing media/politicians in both the UK and indeed the US with a view to destabilising the country in the hope that they can instal a ‘Trump’-mini me as PM.

My counter to your fair point Sam, would be, what about the nature of the media? Are the medias in those countries having the same dynamics as here?

And I don't want to blame media, as that's unfair, but I do think the points in this letter about SM & Media are v pertinent.

Do you not think that the uniquely hostile attitude of the press to any Labour party makes it problematic, and that this particular Labour party has had to face a dreadful economic inheritance. Agreed they are not great, but they do not deserve this level of opprobrium.
