Good grief. Premier Smith is beating every dead horse grievance she can possibly dredge up. She sounds like a whiny baby, not someone “defending” the province. The language she is using to describe the fed government: demonize, battle, attack, hostile, etc feeds right into her separatist agenda.

I am so sick of her and her grievance politics. She is the one sowing fear and anger - something she is gaslighting Albertans about right now in her announcement, blaming others for doing so.

The Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 created the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. I reread it today; nothing in the law allows a president to defund PBS and NPR. In fact, Congress specifically sought to insulate public media from political pressure.

She redeemed herself slightly by saying it didn't hurt that Carney was good looking.
I think she didn't get a lot of the banter either which left her in no man's land.
