imo the weirder facet is the dubiously curated blocklists. a friend of mine ended up on a blocklist of people that like a series and a different blocklist of ppl that dislike it (???)

it's a bit of an erasure of women's contributions to gaming, but it's also just... a weird case? they weren't employed at Eurocom, never set foot in that building.
just two folks in a uni library (i presume??) that happened to be approached by some nerds with a plan.

doing research: Eurocom got its start on NES games, but didn't have a devkit. just a tome of NES specs...in Japanese. so they went to Sheffield University and pieced together how the hardware work with the help of 2 Japanese students. both uncredited.
i really want to know their perspective.
