Other cats: Living alarm clocks, will yell at you if you don't get up at 6am to feed them

My cat: Will cry like a little baby if I get up any earlier than ten, and even then she's not going to be happy

(but then again she is a bed-time-alarm clock. God help me if I'm not in bed by 10 pm....)

One thing I hate about "online" is that as soon as you mention something that sounds positive about a historical thing that has been turned into a horror story in modern minds, you get accused of whitewashing history.

There are so many things I need to cut because they turned out to be inconsequential for the plot/beginnings of subplots that didn't fit with the rest/things that just don't work with the way the characters actually develop... It's so frustrating

with the book I'm #writing right now, I feel like I'm adding clay to a vaguely defined ball with so many issues that I know I'll have to change later, but also I feel if I start going into the details now I'm never going to get to the end...
