I watched The Grand Budapest Hotel today and my god I did not know what that movie was about at ALL. Great movie, though! Really visually interesting and worth fun characters, glad I watched it

For my birthday I watched kpop demon hunters and the matrix for the first time and lemme tell you what a ride that was.

Both good! Very different though!

Also watched Slice of Life, a documentary about businesses taking over old Pizza Hut buildings. Also surprisingly good? So yeah.

My film professor didn't even have us watch it. He said he wouldn’t show it in class or assign it. We talked about it a bit, but he said that it’s difficult to say where techniques and conventions originated, and what we could learn wasn't worth the amount of racist BS in it.
