Dismissed because of jurisdictional confusion, it should be stressed, rather than any new revelation that would discredit the survivors of sexual assault who have come forward.

Abusers do this. You can never hate them because of what they’ve done to you. You’re just an easily suggestible person who has been duped by malevolent forces working against them. They can’t reckon with their own evil or the fact that they’re undesirable.

Boomers are having major backlash to grown kids going no contact with their parents. They really think a parent has ownership over causing their kid suffering for life. They really think they can force someone to be around them when it makes them miserable due to filial obligations.

They say, if we couldn't go no contact with our kids raising them, why can they go no contact with us? That attitude is why your kids don't like you. You should've raised them because you brought them into the world & loving them would be nice. People can free themselves from those who hurt them.

They think it's a trend because the media is influencing their kids, never dawns on them that their kids just don't like them because of how they treat them & now that they have a choice, won't choose their company.

Baffled by transphobes insisting that the name on your birth certificate is Your True Name Forever when it was common in my grandparents' generation to just...pick a name you like and use that, nbd. I literally found out both of my grandma's birth certificate first names FROM THEIR OBITUARIES.
