In all seriousness: Joshua’s post is right. A bunch of folks in that cohort fell into right wing politics, courtesy of the Bush era neocon surge and the early Drudge Report. I watched it happen to a handful of my classmates. “I’m gifted so I’m smarter than YOU” is a very real temptation!
