Delighted to have left the far right hellhole that X has become! Hailing from Scotland, I’m a great believer in progressive politics. Work as an ESOL tutor and love all the New Scots who have sought asylum here from all over the world! Oh, and LOVE dogs 🐢

All evidence to the contrary.
Stop hero worshipping Politicians.

They work for the public but are really there building their network of hooligans to rob the public blind and gain favour with big money.

Keir Starmer is a LIAR.

A reminder that this is the same Rishi Sunak who when he was Prime Minister raised taxes to their highest level in more than 70 years

He can be defeated, as around 65% dont want a fascist regime.
However, division amongst opposition will see him in No 10. Notice NF has not attacked rise of the Greens and Corbyn's oddly named "Your Party." More division the better. Caerphilly voters showed the way. Can the rest of the UK follow?

Stop letting Farage set the agenda, challenge him on Reform’s poor performance, ridicule his thin skin, push him on economic policy, refuse to engage on his immigration talking points, define the context when countering his dog whistles. Burst his balloon of lies and disinformation.

25.10.2025 11:22 β€” πŸ‘ 7    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

The most important thing to stop him is making sure he has a poor showing at the Welsh Senedd elections next May.

Apart from the damage he'll do to Wales, he'll use it as a springboard for the next General Election.

I want the media to talk about how Plaid have managed to push back.

25.10.2025 10:42 β€” πŸ‘ 7    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Reform is no different than far right groups in Europe. They are all funded by Russia, all have the same anti-migrant talking points, the only difference is the flag they wave. There is no British identity in Farage's populist agenda he is just selling the same Putinism Le Pen et al are selling.

25.10.2025 11:08 β€” πŸ‘ 13    πŸ” 4    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

He’s been divisive & a disrupter all of his life. He’s purely an opportunist, making up loud catchy sound bites, but he offers no serious solutions. People need to see that HE is the problem!☹️

25.10.2025 11:01 β€” πŸ‘ 21    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

It's also time the public held MSM to account for its relentless promotion of Farage and Reform. Tell them you know, email, letter but the best way to show your contempt. Turn them off.

But he was also very patronising and rude to a clever Muslim woman - which showed him as the misogynist, racist he pretends not to be.

25.10.2025 11:22 β€” πŸ‘ 25    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Farage was whiny, defensive & entirely lacking substance when being interviewed by Bloomberg's Michal Husain.

25.10.2025 11:11 β€” πŸ‘ 26    πŸ” 5    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

True.
Either the vast majority of the country’s journalists are incompetent, or the media are making a concerted effort to get Farage into power.

25.10.2025 11:07 β€” πŸ‘ 16    πŸ” 4    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

πŸ’― Chris Mason is the Uriah Heep of political commentators.
But r/wing media, including the Tory controlled BBC, are all complicit/guilty of normalising and promoting propaganda and lies from racist Farage, who is largely responsible for wrecking Britain's economy. Time to flush him out.

25.10.2025 10:59 β€” πŸ‘ 41    πŸ” 8    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 1

He tries to restrict his interviews to fellow racists like @nickferrarilbc.bsky.social who almost orgasmed on air at the idea of all immigrants not β€œculturally appropriate” (white) being forcibly deported.

There’s a reason he dodges James O’Brian.

And he can always depend of Mason the weasel.

25.10.2025 10:41 β€” πŸ‘ 30    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I cannot commend this enough, and have just been saying the same. Both Farage, and the top of Reform, are completely fraudulent, and run by conmen. They are wide open to being exposed. I have no idea why they aren't challenged more.

25.10.2025 10:32 β€” πŸ‘ 42    πŸ” 9    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

yes!! let him get tetchy and cut him off. I like this, all we need now is interviewers that make it about the substance and facts and not themselves.

25.10.2025 11:07 β€” πŸ‘ 16    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Or end the interview. Starve him of the oxygen of publicity.

25.10.2025 10:57 β€” πŸ‘ 26    πŸ” 5    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

A good description of Farage - β€œSlippery and prickly” - he changes the subject when he has no answers. The interviewer needs to stop this nonsense. He has to answer the questions.

25.10.2025 10:33 β€” πŸ‘ 53    πŸ” 6    πŸ’¬ 4    πŸ“Œ 0

Push him on policies. Push him on Reform UK's Russian connections. Push him on dodgy donations. Push him on his absences from his constituency & parliament. Push him on the constant grifting in the USA.

How to Defeat Nigel Farage The Reform leader is a deeply flawed politician who is leading an even more flawed political party. It's time for his opponents to finally start taking him on

Recent events have shown how deeply flawed a politician Nigel Farage really is.

It's time for his opponents to stop being so afraid and finally start taking him on.

Disagree

Two opponents have taken him on

And one, @zackpolanski.bsky.social, is taking him on fully. Which is why right wing commentators are afraid. Nah, scared

Zack benefits the whole political system by exposing Farage

We are not in hock to Farage. Nor will we ever be

During my lifetime there has been one good Labour govt: Blair's.

I initially hoped Starmer may have been good. I liked his six tests and hoped he'd be decent enough to stand by them.

Starmer rapidly jettisoned his principles and adopted Brexit.

It was obvious that was the end of Labour's chances.

Let's hope that she can bring in more bills that empower community ownership and cooperatives!

As bad as Kier Starmer has been, some good can happen locally and build a better economy from the ground up.

I’m glad Lucy Powell won. Party leaderships need independent voices within them. This is a clear victory for Labour’s soft left and a blow to Starmer.

Andy Burnham and the Labour centre-left will be delighted with this result, even if Starmer is having to put a brave face on.

Caerphilly man spells out why Reform didn't win by-election A local Caerphilly man has spelled out exactly why Reform fell to defeat in the local by-election in the Welsh town this week.

Couldn’t have put it better myself:

β€˜Speaking to PoliticsJOE, he said: β€œNigel Farage’s rhetoric is β€˜stop the boats’ and everyone seems to think that if the boats stop then everything is going to be alright, but it’s far more than the boats isn’t it?”’

Plaid Cymru by-election winner sworn in at Welsh Parliament after historic ousting of Labour

Still feeling joy at Caerphilly keeping Reform out and backing Plaid Cymru.

I’m very scared at what the next general election may bring though, is there maybe hope that parties with broadly similar ideals might work together to keep Reform out?
