my doctor told me to start using a nebulizer at home to help with seasonal aggravation of my asthma and i used it for the first time tonight before getting ready for bed and oh man, my dog Did Not Like It. she barked at it and then ran away to another room, poor baby.

in this case to do that, i reverse image searched via google images, found people talking about the cropped version on reddit and saw a redditor sharing a different photo from the set to point out how the cropped one is misleading. then i tracked down the photos on getty via the photographer's name.

when so many images (and even videos) we're presented with and told to get angry about or laugh at etc. are photoshopped or even entirely AGI-created, it's important to consume ALL images/videos/etc. critically and fact-check whenever you can.

i understand why so many people are just accepting the cropped version without context. it's not edited other than the cropping! but the full image in context with others makes it clear that the makeup is being made more obvious due to being in shadow when the rest of his head isn't.

okay i looked this up and it's a cropped version of this photo from mid-october. the rest of the photos in the collection (also available on getty images: www.gettyimages.com/search/more-...) show obvious makeup but it's not this bad. this one is like that bc of a shadow from the other man's head.
