I like how this photo makes it look like she does it despite being born with only 2 hooves.

Why the fuck is the mayor-elect of NYC obligated to talk to a wealthy CANADIAN about anything?

As a white man, I hate AI for appropriating my culture of being confidently wrong about things while using Reddit as a primary source.

Basic decency is a slippery slope. It can lead to kindness, compassion, generosity, and all sorts of other harmful characteristics that could cause the downfall of modern society.

This device has every book and song ever written, mostly for free.

Wow! What do you use it for?

Unwinnable fights with strangers about things I cannot control.

Spent a summer picking tobacco for enough money to buy the PS1 and FF7 and never regretted it.

crazy what a beer and a concert will do for the mental health

Begging to differ, though I catch your lighthearted tone - my brother fell in with a drinking crowd, a classy military one - was diagnosed with acute alcoholic hepatitis, and died Feb 18.

Me: "So fix it!"
Geico: "Well, we don't have the estimate or photos of the damage."
Me: "Yes, you do. It was all sent to you by my insurance."
Geico: "Oh. So what do you want us to do about it?"
Me: "Get me a loaner car!"
Geico: "How about we put you in a call queue behind 815 other people?"

support whomever you’d like, but what is frustratingly dishonest about this take is that actual issue β€” the thing critics have identified as the problem β€” isn’t the decision of the 21-year old to get the tattoo, but of the judgment of the 40-year old who still has it.

I’m far from a parenting genius. But I think about how my parents told me to do stuff - ie β€œdo this or else” and how I tell me kids to do things - β€œplz do these 2 simple tasks while I do this other stuff for the family” - and it really seems to be working out in my favor.

He’s had a Nazi tattoo for 20 years and never had it removed, Davey. 20 years. It’s almost old enough to drink.

22.10.2025 22:21 β€” πŸ‘ 7    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

And while we're at it, can we determine how many Nazi tattoos it takes to disqualify a person for public office? Because I've always thought the obvious answer was one, but apparently lots of folks disagree?

Maaaaaaybe there’s another date that says like 1880 and it’s a memorial to his great-great-grandfather? 🀞🏻

(It’s not that)

22.10.2025 18:26 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

He had it removed when he got *found out*. I don’t think or care if he’s a Nazi plant. If it took him 20 years to figure out he had a Nazi emblem on his chest, OR if he knew and chose not to get it removed until he got caught, then he’s too dumb to vote into office.

22.10.2025 18:06 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yet only 1 was used by a Nazi and, importantly, it's the one the dude got tattooed on his body and kept for 20 years.

22.10.2025 17:58 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Then I'd burn it off myself because I'm not a Nazi. You're coming up with a lot of excuses for a guy who had a Nazi tattoo for 20 years and never bothered to cover it up.

22.10.2025 17:57 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I am not a huge fan of Janet Mills. But you know what Janet Mills doesn't have? A Nazi tattoo.

I just don't understand how "No Nazi tattoos" became such a hot button topic. That bar is so low you have to avoid tripping on it.

Even if you want a young progressive in office -- which I very much do -- you've got to draw the line at a certain point. Call me crazy, but "Nazi tattoo, deliberate or otherwise," is mine. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

AI’s Invasive Species The slop is winning.

Hi. I wrote an essay about AI slop: How it feels like an invasive species for the internet. How its boosters describe building a future that’s devoid of craft. How frictionlessness can be nihilistic & how this stuff seems to leach part of our shared humanity out of the world. I hope you'll read it.

Big fan of both bourbon and spiced rum in mulled cider. Dark rum gives me wicked heartburn for some reason.
