support whomever you’d like, but what is frustratingly dishonest about this take is that actual issue — the thing critics have identified as the problem — isn’t the decision of the 21-year old to get the tattoo, but of the judgment of the 40-year old who still has it.

I’m far from a parenting genius. But I think about how my parents told me to do stuff - ie “do this or else” and how I tell me kids to do things - “plz do these 2 simple tasks while I do this other stuff for the family” - and it really seems to be working out in my favor.

There is only ONE appropriate response to this behavior.

He had it removed when he got *found out*. I don’t think or care if he’s a Nazi plant. If it took him 20 years to figure out he had a Nazi emblem on his chest, OR if he knew and chose not to get it removed until he got caught, then he’s too dumb to vote into office.

Yet only 1 was used by a Nazi and, importantly, it's the one the dude got tattooed on his body and kept for 20 years.

Then I'd burn it off myself because I'm not a Nazi. You're coming up with a lot of excuses for a guy who had a Nazi tattoo for 20 years and never bothered to cover it up.
