Lol, my question is literally answered within the first 2 minutes of part 4. 😂 Chris says - the Knights should not know which Myths they are seeking, they should figure out which rumor is an Omen and which Myth it connects to.

Knowing my players there's very little chance of us being faster. 😅 They enjoy roleplaying and exploring, so a well-populated hex map with curious rumors will keep them busy (and easily distracted).

Thank you for the advice! I'm pretty clear on the rules, they're very clear and concise in the book. It's the intended procedure for Myths that's causing me trouble, so I guess I'll put on Part 4 now. 😅

Are you planning a long campaign? I will most likely run a short one, 6-8 sessions at the most.

Some Omens are very clearly connected to their Myths, even mention them by name. Others are "the air smells foul", which can be a sign of a world-shattering Myth, or a dead horse in a ditch.

Or am I supposed to drop all sorts of clues and Omens and rumors, without assigning them openly to specific Myths. Could be related to the Myth, could be connected to a local Landmark, or a Seer, or another wandering Knights. If so - how do I help the players make sense of 6 Myths + unrelated stuff?

I'm specifically wondering if the Myth should be introduced "openly" (as in "this weird thing you saw is the Omen of The Goblin")? If so, how do I make it make sense in-game, that the characters understand the meaning behind some random bit of weirdness they found?

I only found the game run by Chris for Plus One Exp and it's unfortunately pretty unwatchable. Chris is doing an awesome job explaining the rules and envisioning the world, but the players are giving him nothing to work with. Except bad jokes, complaints about low stats and blank stares.

A box of wires in my building that were supposed to connect me to the internet. The box is open and the wires are hanging out. There are feathers and sticks stuck in the wires because the pigeons made a nest in the box. Everything is covered in pigeon shit.

Okay listen. I'm trying to get my ISP to fix my internet, I've been trying since Thursday, it's not working and probably won't be fixed this week.

But now I remembered what happened with the previous ISP I had last year, and now I'm pretty sure it's REALLY, actually all Stupid Pigeons.

After 8 turns, the town of Summerhill has a prosperous vineyard, a monthly market, a sturdy keep, and it avoided a plague ravaging the south. It also has a faction of angry witches, a possibly haunted canyon nearby, arsonists (who may be the angry witches), and some roaming bandits!

A table set to play Ex Novo. There's a big map, drawn in pencil, plastic tokens and dice, post-it notes, two lit candles, a game book open on a random table and a small, partially filled notebook.

Halfway through a solo game of Ex Novo by @sharkbombs.bsky.social and @konstantinosd.bsky.social. I'm having a lot of fun with this version of the game! I will finish it up in a few days and add some proper lines and color to the pencil map and post it.

Oh, and you have to fight with a fucking bot to get through to a human. The bot just repeats the same 3 useless sentences from the FAQ, but also says there's no point talking to a human because there are no updates for my case. I had to swear at the fucking thing, that broke the script loop.

It's close to 8pm, no contact. The worst part is they're ALL like this. Not a single ISP with functional customer service/technical support department.

They actually told me to go buy and activate a mobile data starter in the meantime and said they'd reimburse me. Fantastic fucking solution.

A new technician would take care of it. Today I found out that the ticket is fully closed, I need to create a new one. They will send someone to fix it by Wednesday. I won't be home tomorrow or on Wednesday, so I asked them to send someone today.

My internet has been down since Thursday. The ISP says they sent a technician and he said he fixed it, so he closed the ticket. He didn't fix it, of course, didn't contact me either. They told me I didn't need to submit a new ticket because I did mark this one as unresolved.

A girl in front of me got a coffee with like fifteen pumps of vanilla syrup (she didn't order any), it looked like the barista glitched and just kept pumping until she asked him what he was doing.

I went to MCM at ExCeL twice. It doesn't get any better with the scale of the event. Once I had a wildly overpriced burrito which looked like someone wrestled with the tortilla for a while and lost. It fell apart the moment I started unwrapping it, and it was inexplicably both soggy and dry.

I was talking to someone about American cars recently, and just for fun I put this thing in front of a Ford F-350. 🙃🙃🙃
