People in Belgium seem to love Star Trek fonts. I keep seeing them on random things everywhere 🤔.

I'm not complaining, just surprised.

You’re right, that makes sense! It’s really just a personal and subjective preference that led me to go for a department-less design.

I just prefer cleaner, more streamlined visuals, and I felt that adding those elements to the officers’ badge might have been a bit too much.

✨Custom Combadge Design (2410's)

I really like Discovery’s idea of having different combadges depending on rank. Overall, I think they went a bit too far by integrating the rank directly into the badge, but I appreciated the concept of having some kind of visual separation.

I get that! Tho I’m personally not a fan of having the department there, I feel like the colours on the uniforms already do a good job of showing who’s working where.

But the same thing could be said about ranks, that the pips are a clearer visual.

It’s just an idea I wanted to try out, really :)!

Thank you! It’s my favorite as well, inspired by the Admiral badge seen in Future Imperfect. I’ve always found those badges captivating ever since they made their first on-screen appearance.

It might not be the most original design ever, but it was a great way to test out a new design tool and explore some new ideas.

I also created Hybrid and Gold versions, though I prefer the fully Silver one.

I also like the split design we’ve seen in Discovery and Picard, and I tried to put my own spin on it! I’d place this one sometime after Picard, around 2415 (since STO already has its own design for 2409 - 2411).

As much as I love this typeface, I’m not completely sure! It feels a bit too ‘retro’ and old-school to fully capture Star Trek’s sense of futurism and innovation.

But maybe with a few reworks, it could work! But that's just my opinion of course.

I’ve always loved the disco vibe of the teaser poster logo with the Phase II Enterprise. While the final logo is amazing, I’ve often wondered how this design might have looked across other posters or title screens.

I don’t mind the TOS wordmark serving as the link between all the new shows, it feels pretty timeless, so it works for me.

It’s usually the second half that leaves me a bit “meh.” They just don’t feel as iconic as TNG, VOY, or DS9 to me.

Oh I like it! I’ve never liked the original DSC logo but this version is way better, imo.

I like Discovery, and I really like the Voyager logo, so I was curious how the DSC logo would look with a similar design. I made months ago—it’s a bit rough, but I kind of like it! I think the bronze reflects Discovery's original hull color nicely, though the gold also works really well.

Merian class frame and 3 variants. (2 more coming) The frame is modular, also for vertical pylons. The nacelles too have connector and power slots on the top and the bottom for a vertical configuration.

Another vintage Star Trek logo added to my collection. Any oldies recognise where this one is from?

More off-brand Star Trek discoveries tonight. This logo was used on packaging for masks sold by Ben Cooper in the 70s.

This is my reproduction of course. The logo itself was straightforward to make, but then I spent a few hours on the presentation! Still, I'm quite pleased with the result.
