Part of our family's recent travels included a trip to Thompson, Manitoba, and a boat ride on Paint Lake, where we had a cabin back in the 80s. This work was inspired by the beautiful shield shore.

I began painting again while living in the Yukon, a fabulous place of remarkable beauty. Stuck in the studio one winter, I let myself imagine a Yukon landscape. Anyone who's lived in the territory will recognize this place that doesn't exist. 'Yukon Fantasy', acrylic, 24x30, private collection.

Welcome to all my new followers and all the best for 2025! Painted a few years ago on the first day of the year. Worked from a plein air started just a few hundred metres from my former residence on the Slocan River. In a private collection.

One of the largest tributaries of the Slocan River is the Little Slocan, which falls from the highlands to the west of the valley and joins about halfway down. Acrylic, 24 x36.
