* A 3-year-old who was dressed better than me and seemed to know it
* Bar dogs, almost as a concept
* Deciding against the carpaccio and the restaurant accidentally delivering some to our table anyway (it was fate, baby)
Still way behind on my word count but can't complain all things considered

Highlights of the weekend:
* A very drunk woman at a restaurant very drunkenly answering her phone, explaining to the person she forgot to pick something up from that it's no stress for her to just reschedule, then complaining to a friend about how much a mutual friend drinks

It erodes the social fabric and institutions, but it boils away the billionaires' brains too

* Excitedly going to sip the new flavor only to realize that I'd been sipping it to no fanfare ... Twice

WSJ is running an op-ed mocking Dems for their weak 2028 presidential slate β you know, 33 months before the election
This story really should have been treated as what it is, a sad man's resignation from an industry he can no longer keep pace with

I'm not an advisor, but I feel comfortable telling people three things: an index fund is good enough for you; life insurance isn't an investment; if someone is selling you an investment and says the word "guarantee," they are pitching you a scam

10 Games Workshop Chaos war hounds. They have shaggy brown manes, yellow haunches β some with leopard spots and some with tiger stripes β and bright blue tails and snouts with red noses. The bases are a muddy mess of bones and blood.
Chaos hounds probably done? The matted blood came out a little too black, so might hit that real quick with something a little brighter, but trying to not let "halfway decent" be the enemy of "actually finished"

10 plastic Games Workshop Chaos war hounds. They're on 3-d printed bases that are just piles of skulls. The war hounds have yellow bodies, some with tiger stripes, some with leopard spots and some unadorned. They have large, light brown manes. Their tails, horns, teeth, eyes, etc. are just base coated and clearly unfinished. The bases are a mess of glossy red paint splashed roughly over the skulls, which are brown and ivory.
First models for my Old World Brayherds are almost done β need to pick out details and tusks n horns n tails, but I wanted to see how my high-concept bases looked before settling on a color
"High-concept" of course means "more blood" like I'm Hubbard on a movie set
