An opinion I feel should be universal at this point: All indoor public spaces (but especially schools, workplaces, and medical facilities) should be subject to air quality regulations and continuous monitoring and CO2 and particulate concentration numbers should be accessibly displayed.

Overlooking a simple, cheap, *proven* solution to airborne transmission is costing us dearly in terms of:

💙 Immediate impacts of sickness
💜 Long-term impacts (sequelae)
💗 Clinically Vulnerable safety

Air filteration and #CleanAir💨 is good news for health and attendance.

Staff took on average 7.8 sick days in the past year, up from 5.8 before the pandemic, the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD) found. One teacher who is off sick told the BBC her work environment was now "toxic" due to high pressure. The trade group said the rise was a "worry" and blamed stress, Covid and the cost-of-living crisis.
