Not at all the article's point, which is GHG up, albedo down, net E-imbalance up.

Anecdotal, but for the past 15 years I've lived through and monitored our winters in southern Michigan, we get many more cold+dry episodes where the jet stream heads south and takes the cold+snow/ice with it, to southern Ohio and beyond. This year we've not had > 1-2" of snow on the ground yet.
