It'd be easy to chalk that all up to MAGA psychos or Russian bots or whatever. But the comment section also hates Trump, so I don't know what ideology it ascribes to other than just being a misanthrope.

At my own peril, I often read TikTok comments. For an app that's supposedly used by The Enlightened Youth, the comment section on just about every video is filled with gutter racism, baseless conspiracy theories, homophobia and transphobia. I can't tell if it's all bots or just shitty people.

I have no idea why, but organizations loooooove protecting those kind of guys.

I don't have a greater moral to this story, but all of the Epstein and email stuff reminds me of it a bit. It's really not hard to slam the door on pedophiles. You don't have to be friends with them.

My oblivious moron old roommate found Offender Bob and talked to him the entire potluck after the service. I kept the Bob in the corner of my eye until he left. My roommate then added the Bob to the Church Singles GroupMe. I was an admin of the chat and proceeded to ban the Bob immediately.

One time a Bob showed up to church who just had a weird vibe about him. My dad, who was then an admin at the church, looked up the guy on MD's offender registry and sure enough, the Bob was on it for crimes against children. The security team and I followed him around the entire service.

Once I found a "Bob," I would walk over to the conversation, introduce myself, and start talking about either trains and locomotives or naval warfare in World War II. The conversation stopped dead 100% of the time and the offending Bob usually wandered off.

Bob Patrol consisted of me hanging out in the main sanctuary of the church and keep an eye out for creepy dudes (who weren't regular harmless church members) talking to young women or teenagers for too long.

I used to be part of a large church that hosted potlucks that were open to the public every few months. Without fail, creepy dudes would show up and start talking to young women there for too long. The senior pastor's wife gave me the job of "Creepy Bob Patrol."

I was visiting my parent's house and I did not see the brand, unfortunately. They were pork though and probably from Wegmans or Aldi if I were to take a guess.
