What if I’m ugly AND bad at dancing?

Does that mean liberals will stop blaming leftists for the 2016 and 2024 losses?

I agree she should have retired. But claiming β€œeveryone knew Trump would win the 2016 primary” is rewriting history to an absurd degree.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg apparently didn’t.

OP apparently cares.

β€œBernie Sanders can’t win” isn’t a stale take? The last time he ran for a primary was much longer ago than the 2024 election.

04.02.2026 05:59 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Maybe a method that could have been used to kill his career is saying β€œI won’t vote for Biden if he wins the primary.”

04.02.2026 05:54 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I’m not American.

04.02.2026 05:53 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Sounds like we should have killed his career sooner then.

04.02.2026 05:53 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I’m responding to the claim that the only civic duty a person has is to choose the candidate they think is the best

04.02.2026 05:52 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

You said everyone knew they were voting for a β€œ80 year old grandpa” in 2020; sounds like they had 4 years to run a primary.

04.02.2026 05:51 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

No one thought Trump would win his primary either.

04.02.2026 05:50 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

So we aren’t electing the most qualified candidate?

04.02.2026 05:49 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

She has it if Biden died in office; that didn’t happen.

04.02.2026 05:47 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

By this logic, why have primaries at all? Why not just have each president choose their successor?

04.02.2026 05:46 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Biden completed his role as president. It’s absurd to say that the VP pick is entitled to incumbency.

04.02.2026 05:44 β€” πŸ‘ 10    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

So, if a third party candidate it better than either the Democrat or Republican nominee, it’s your civic duty to vote for them?

04.02.2026 05:42 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

What does this mean, β€œit’s our job to elect her”. The DNC didn’t give voters any choice of candidate.

04.02.2026 05:31 β€” πŸ‘ 37    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah, haven’t studies shown women generally prefer swimmers bodies to bodybuilders?

Why is it that the Republicans can stop Democrats from doing stuff when they’re in power, yet Democrats can’t?

All art is erotic if you’re creative enough.

Honestly, I think Starlight Express stage show does a good job of summarising the material cleanly

I could have written 10k words on this game. It's remarkable. It's everything you want and need from a city-builder, but also there's transport tycoon and sid meier's colonization stuff in there as well, and even in EA it's almost perfect

This is the similar vibe I get from Classic Athenian comedies; such small town indie theatre energy. Imagine writing a skit where you throw shade at your highschool rival for getting cast as the lead instead of you, and 2000 years later that’s being read as a foundational piece of the Western canon

I’m guessing it’s between Sinners, KPop demon hunters and the new songs for the Wicked movie

Secondly, they’d have to be a very unique combination of words for a 4 word sentence to be possibly count as plagerism.

16.01.2026 07:47 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

First of all, if you wrote something without intending to copy, that’s misattribution not plagerism. So you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself. Artists lift material wholesale from other artists as homage all the time; most of Tarantino’s career has been made up of remixing other people’s art

16.01.2026 07:46 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

He’s being ironic. The idea that a divine being should require his faith when its existence is eminently provable to itself is what he’s making fun of.

I don’t think inadvertent plagerism is a thing one should be concerned about. People have influences, and if you aren’t intentionally copying someone else’s work, you might be derivative, but you aren’t a plagiarist.
