Parents are afraid to send their kids to school, classrooms sit half-empty, children are being taken to detention facilities. We’ve crossed a line.

I stood with education leaders to discuss the growing harm federal actions are causing to children, families, and our schools.

@donlemonofficial.bsky.social's arrest & the threat to sue Trevor Noah are warnings to every journalist in America. The message from this administration is clear: cross us, and we'll come for you. I break down what this means for press freedom in my latest Substack article and video. Link in reply.

If you’ve posted ten or more times in one or more online forums about your problems with STARFLEET ACADEMY, your problems aren’t really with STARFLEET ACADEMY.

I just can't accept the claim that religious conservatives support Trump because they believe he disproves the theory of evolution.

Our Minnesotans are, let’s face it, big-hearted and humane and courageous in ways that set good examples for us all. I see their bravery reinforcing that of other Americans who oppose of turning USA into Stalag 17. (Bovine aimed for 17 but there’s a distinct Stalag 13 odor around him.)

When the histories are written, scholars will speculate as to why the Administration didn’t anticipate how inventive Minnesotans can be at coping with ice.

Sure, Bovino's been fired, but a just punishment should at least include a requirement that he wear his trench coat, ideally with jackboots, outdoors all summer in El Centro.

It's not an effective criticism of certain comparisons to suggest that, while the Third Reich shipped millions of Jews to places like Auschwitz (which is in Poland), we only arranged to send 238 Spanish speakers to a torture prison in El Salvador.

Federal agents cornered Marimar Martinez, shot her several times, boasted about it, arrested her, lied about her to the public and in the police report, and falsely charged her with assaulting them.

Now the government wants to keep evidence of their lies secret to protect these agents' "privacy."

I shouldn't be, given how generally brilliant he has been up to now, but I'm still amazed from Ben Kingsley's strong, hilarious, committed, yet nuanced performance in Marvel's WONDER MAN. Plus, he and Abdul-Mateen have great chemistry in their scenes together.

I think this is precisely the right move because it has the best chance of rooting out the toxic culture that is the root and branch of ICE. But the Reformers will probably just rename it.

Bullet hole raises questions about federal authorities' account of shooting

Photographic evidence from the shooting scene of a Venezuelan man by federal agents last month in Minneapolis supports the account of witnesses there β€” and appears to undercut the narrative provided by federal officials.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has repeatedly claimed that an officer fired a single shot in self-defense during a violent encounter involving a shovel and a broom on Jan. 14, shortly after a man fled from a traffic stop during a targeted enforcement effort.

But at a federal court hearing in St. Paul on Tuesday, an attorney for one of the men accused of assaulting that officer showed a federal judge and several reporters photographs on his laptop depicting a single bullet hole through the front door of the north Minneapolis home. Additional photographs show damage consistent with a bullet fragment lodged in a bedroom wall down the hallway β€” suggesting it traveled between a mattress and a portable crib in a room where several small children sleep.

That supports what family members have said all along: A federal agent shot at them through the front door, striking 24-year-old Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis in the thigh, while they were inside the threshold of the residence.

I know you've heard that a federal judge ordered the release of 5 year old Liam Conejo Arias and his father, and that they're now home.

But did you look at the judge's order?

It's less than 2.5 pages and well worth a minute. "Jesus wept."

FUN FACTS:
The name "GOD" is only mentioned in the Bible 4000 times. "Yahweh" mentioned 6500 times in the Old Testament.

The name Trump has been mentioned approximately 38,000 times in the Epstein Files.

Coincidence?
