Fallout 3 and NV were literally the only games I had played between getting a PlayStation 2 in 2001 and getting a Switch in 2018. I was not paying any attention to game press and loved NV immediately, only later finding out that it had been panned by press and was considered a cult classic

I have a friend who works at a big bay area tech company, and they came extremely close to hiring a fake person in a content role. They have since made it policy that anyone on a remote interview has to perform a movement on a video call to demonstrate realness (like waving to the camera)

I do think there are fields where AI is "good enough" to replace some jobs, though for anyone who cares about the product it's completely insufficient, but mostly it's being used an excuse for companies to be shittier to the employees they do have

There's one of these in the bay area - parents have to sign release forms before they let the kids have tools but I think this sort of thing has been making a comeback
