morrowind definitely has more than its fair share of friction but honestly, after years of modern gaming. we have removed friction in games as an attempt to save frustration and time with introducing really boring easy repetitive content loops that ultimately end up being virtual chores.

the assistant technically puts you worse off if you are good at your rotation and mechanics but if youre bad/mediocre at managing both, youll actually be better off using the assistant and i think it says a lot about how we need to cool off around designing around add-ons and/or expectations
