Her main retort to those of us who showed our anger at the Vancouver town hall was that we probably just "read too much news", so I genuinely think she pays very little attention to the news at all.

She'll make claims so insulting or absurdly false or dumb that I cannot tell if she just has total contempt for her constituents to think we'd buy it, or if she's just completely incompetent and actually believes the nonsense she spews (e.g. "I voted for the SAVE act *because* it was a bad law!")

She's a weird degrowther rural snob who doesn't care about a brutal immigration system or us being cut off from the rest of the world because we can just "right to repair" fourth-hand Speed Queen washing machines or whatever.

MGP doesn't really care what the rest of the Dems want, or what the GOP wants, or what *any* of her own constituents want. She cares about what *MGP* wants, personally (and often idiosyncratically). She is a party and voter base unto herself.

Again, she's not an annoying centrist who is trying to pander too much to the right, she's a genuinly bizarre and unserious crank who treats my district's one precious seat in Congress like a fucking toy. It's infuriating how little she cares about ANY of the sacred duties we entrusted her with.

No Kings is a good slogan but if we're being pedantic then it seems important that Trump is claiming much more expansive powers than any English king ever had.
