I’m seeing a lot of confusion about ‘risk’ versus cause.

The DecodeME results do NOT show that ME is a genetically caused disease.

There is no gene that causes ME.

They do show certain genes can increases our chances of developing ME. 🧵

So refreshing to hear people talking like this.
