Glad we can keep flexibility for the summer window where we’ll really see Corey get to work

Messing around with @futi.live MLS team style data and ASA’s g+, I took a look at the net g+ profiles for the most stylistically extreme teams within each cluster.
Teams were selected based on both style score and “purity” - the gap between their primary and secondary stylistic identities.

Thank you! G+ is definitely dominated by shot-stopping but I agree it will be interesting to see the contributions from sweeping & distro. ASA’s passing data also highlights what we already know: Miami GKs have been asked to play much shorter passes and more passes overall than DSC at Minnesota

Inspired by @americansocceranalysis.com End of Season Awards podcast episode, I looked at STL City’s “Jekyll & Hyde” award — who flipped their form the most this year based on Goals Added (using June 1 as the season midpoint and >500 min in each half). ⬇️ #AllForCity #STLCity

Long overdue schedule change — and it good to see the scrutiny on players over 23. Going to be fascinating watching college soccer, USL, and MLS Next Pro battle to shape player development.

I am interested in the redetermination as well. There’s typically large fluctuations in program performance YoY and I wonder if we’ll see schools/conferences accept or decline regional placements for related reasons.
